First Book Blogger Hop!
Question: What was the last book that made you laugh out loud?
Answer: The last book I read that made me laugh was Twice Tempted by Jeaniene Frost. I probably laughed during a couple of books since then but this one stays in my mind. Jeaniene Frost has a distinctive sense of humor and all of her books have a comedic presence. Twice Tempted was no different. There was witty banter between Vlad and Leila and many comments that made me laugh loudly while sitting quietly on my couch with no other noise. My dogs both perked their ears up quite a few times while I was reading this one as I broke the silence on more than one occasion. When a book can make you feel damn near every emotion there is, I think it's a keeper. Her character Leila is a hoot and I recommend this book to anyone and EVERY ONE!

ReplyDeleteHi, there!
I'd like to thank you for following my blog! I'm now following yours, and let me tell you, it's absolutely GORGEOUS!! I love all these bookshelves full of paranormal reads! Oh, this is book heaven!!
As for the book you've picked for the hop, I'm going to add it to my TBR and wish lists. Jeaniene Frost is supposed to be one heck of a writer, and she's one whose books I've been meaning to read. Thanks for sharing!! :)
Thanks for following! As you can see I am new to the book blogging world and I am super exited to meet some other bloggers! That's one of four bookshelves in my small little condo filled with my books, my most prized possessions other then my animals, lol. Jeaniene is INCREDIBLE! She's actually my number one favorite author. I met her at a book festival recently and she was just as amazing in person. Thanks again!! :) -Jenn
ReplyDeleteOh, you're very welcome! I really like the atmospheric feel you've given your blog with this photo!
DeleteYou're so lucky to have met Jeanine in person! It's not often one gets to meet authors. However, I did meet Meg Cabot and Maggie Stiefvater at a book presentation once, here in Miami. They signed copies of their books for us fans.
Blogging is a lot of fun! It's also very time-consuming...but, in spite of my two jobs, I wouldn't give it up for the world!! :)
I've met a few and they were all amazing! Sherrilyn Kenyon, Patricia Briggs, Pamela Palmer, Kim Harrison, Vicki Pettersson and Jeaniene. Some of my favorite life moments. Spoken by a true book geek.
ReplyDeleteI totally get it; I work full-time and volunteer part-time but blogging is an awesome way to relax for me. I love it!
Meg Cabot and Maggie Stiefvater are on my to read list! :)
